This Spinney was included in the land auctioned off for £27,000 by the original developers of the estate on the 5th December 2019 described as approximately 8.5 acres of freehold land including woodland, verges, highways, paths and parcels of land with development potential subject to planning

On the 26th March 2020 the purchaser of the 8.5 acres sold a 9,000 sq ft parcel of land at auction for £45,500. (This has now been resold for £ 101,000.) This is the Spinney in the top photographs.

A firm of tree surgeons has now cleared the area. Our local councillors have been wonderful and got a TPO confirmed. Unfortunately it is probably too late for the trees on this site.

Land adjacent to 94 Hillside Drive

This was auctioned again on 31st March 2021

On the 12th February 2020 the anonymous purchaser had auctioned off a 12,500 sq ft parcel of this land for £121,000. This was described as having development potential in spite of being within 400 metres of Heathland reference BCP council site Heathlands Policy.  It is also an adopted highway. Monday 4th May tree surgeons started work on this site. The owner has architect's plans for three bungalows.
